Selection and Usage precautions for opal glass bottles

September 18th, 2026

The milky white glass bottle has a warm and matte milky white appearance and outstanding light-blocking performance. It is often used for packaging medicinal wine, sauce products, health products and cosmetics, which can block light and delay the oxidation and deterioration of the contents.

During the purchasing process, check the product quality inspection report. Food contact products should comply with the GB 4806.5-2016 standard. Take samples to inspect the bottle body to check for any black spots or uneven thickness of the bottle wall. Pay special attention to checking the size of the bottle mouth to ensure it matches the filling equipment and the sealed bottle cap. For customized products, confirm the uniformity of surface spraying. Only after the sample is qualified will it be put into mass production.

The transportation is separated and protected by paper trays to prevent the bottles from rubbing against each other and causing the porcelain to fall off and the bottom to be exposed. The warehouse should be well-ventilated and protected from light. The stacking height should be controlled within five layers and kept away from all kinds of corrosive chemicals.

For filling operations, the temperature difference between the bottle body and the filling material should be controlled within 60to avoid cracking caused by thermal shock. Damage to the inner coating of the milky white bottle will reduce its light-blocking ability. Do not use a hard brush to scrub vigorously when cleaning. It is not recommended to store strongly alkaline contents for a long time as they can easily erode the inner wall coating.

During the recycling stage, separate sorting is carried out to pick out bottles with broken porcelain or cracks, clean the labels and accessories, and enhance the efficiency of recycling and reuse.
